Listen: Atoms For Peace – Judge Jury And Executioner

AMOK

Our already sweet day (we got two new AlunaGeorge tracks) just got sweeter – just as any day would with any Thom Yorke release. Atoms For Peace is due to release Amok on February 26th via XL – and after “Default” and “What The Eyeballs Did”, we finally have a third track, premiered earlier by Yorke and fellow Radiohead/Atoms For Peace cohort Nigel Godrich on Zane Lowe‘s BBC Radio 1 show.

A mere ten seconds into “Judge Jury And Executioner” warranted a holy shit moment, as it clearly takes a page out of Radiohead‘s book with a “15 Step”-like intro and similarly percussive nature. The track continues with some near-accapella Thom Yorke at certain points as he harmonizes with himself via looping, but sadly, without any massive Flea basslines.

Sadly, the band doesn’t have any shows planned at the moment, but they are considering a European tour once they get their “shit together”.
