[Listen] – Feist Covers Mastodon’s “Black Tongue”, Mastodon Cover Feist’s “A Commotion” for Record Store Day

Listen to Feist and Mastodon‘s split 7″ single below, released for Record Store Day 2012.

If there were ever a collaboration you wouldn’t see coming, this would definitely be one of them, almost two polar opposites of the¬†musical¬†world covering a song of each other’s.

Canadian Feist takes on Mastodon’s “Black Tongue” in a more Mastodon fashion than Feisty, taken from last year’s album “The Hunter”, whilst the metal guys from Atlanta, Georgia throw down an excellent cover of Feist’s “A Commotion” from her latest album “Metals”.

Listen to them both below (called “Feistodon”) and if you like what you hear, rush out early on Saturday morning for Record Store Day and get yourself a copy.
