Listen to How To Dress Well‘s new song “Ocean Floor For Everything” from the album “Total Loss”.
What’s that? One of my most-anticipated albums of the last 18 months has just been announced? Oh cool, no biggie (YES BIGGIE!).
Excuse my excitement, but Tom Krell, aka How To Dress Well, released my second favourite album of 2010 with his lo-fi take on electronic-indie RnB, by far the most haunting and affecting albums that I heard that year, “Love Remains”.
Today he announced the album’s follow-up “Total Loss”, something he’s been pitching on his website for a few months and giving little teasers away about it, but now it’s official. Released in September via Acéphale in the U.S. and Canada and Weird World everywhere else, “Total Loss” will be a total success if based on nothing more than its lead single “Ocean Floor For Everything”.
